“Take your time to find yourself inside that dark and cobwebbed mind…”
Chad Jordan is a songwriter, musician and performer with over 25 years of experience. Based in Asheville, North Carolina, he’s embarking on a solo journey showcasing his introspective acoustic Indie-folk material.
When Chad was a young teen, his parents were apprehensive about his interest in playing guitar because they thought it would be a bad influence. After Chad secretly created a makeshift instrument out of a shoebox and rubber bands, his parents were finally convinced. This led to Chad playing in bands during the suburban Philly punk scene of the mid 90s. Chad slowly mellowed from Indie rock to a more acoustic folk sound while still maintaining the subtle edge of his earlier influences.
His song 10 Years was chosen at a San Diego Songwriters group to be produced, engineered and mixed by local producer Daniel Crawford. From songs about being hopelessly strange, reinventing yourself to escaping the 9 to 5 status quo, Chad sings about darker issues many listeners can relate to.
Chad is currently working on new material for his upcoming EP and booking shows in Western North Carolina and beyond.
