  1. In The Right Time

This is the second released song for my upcoming EP "Past Machine". To contrast the last song I released, "Black Heart", "In the Right Time" is one of the more bright and uplifting songs I've written. Hope you enjoy it!

Chad Jordan is a singer-songwriter residing in Asheville North Carolina. Crafting an ever growing list of songs since the mid 90s and being in a handful of bands along the way, he is currently embarking on a solo journey showcasing his introspective acoustic indie-folk material. The omnipresent theme of many of his songs is constant drive to evolve and escape the mundane of modern society. However, sprinkled in are a few more light-hearted songs such as the horticulturally educational "How to Grow Tomatoes" song. You can check Chad's recent two-part interview out on the "WNC Original Music" podcast to learn more about his material:

Lyrics:
I gave my everything
It left me burned and frayed
It knocked me down on the ground
With my hands on my knees
Gotta remind myself where else I could be

I'm in the right time
better not feel down
I'm in the right time
I won't let it get me down

Still chasing that dream
I just can't let it be
I'm learning things about myself
Those deeper cuts can help
Help to remind myself where else I could be

I'm in the right time
better not feel down
I'm in the right time
I won't let it get me down

It's the moments we have left
It's the ones that we forget
It's the panic in our eyes
We're running out of time
It's the man without his arms
Who's still playing that guitar
He's never giving up
It's the blood I'd give
the blood I'd give to you

Better not feel down
I'm in the right time
I won't let it get me down
